Bigger storm heading to region on Saturday

The coldest air of the season is here.

Low temperatures will drop to single digits in some areas overnight Thursday into Friday. It will actually feel like or below zero early Friday morning.

Friday looks dry overall with some sunshine and highs near 30.

The northern part of our area could see some snow showers arriving later Friday and Friday evening.

Snow will arrive Saturday morning and continue through the evening, possibly mixing with ice at night.

Please refer to our projected snowfall map for accumulation amounts, most of which will be a combination of snow and ice.
