***Dense fog this morning***
Watch for dense fog and drizzle this morning on your way out with many visibilities reduced to less than a half mile. Skies will be mostly cloudy today with a passing shower or two as a warm front continues to push northeast. Temperatures will soar into the upper 50s and lower 60s later this afternoon and evening as milder air rushes in from the south. Periods of rain are likely tonight and Friday as a wave of low pressure moves closer to the region. Rainfall amounts should average 0.75" to 1.25". The rain may mix with or change to ice or snow Friday night as colder air rushes in which could lead to slippery spots on area roads. There may be a small, slushy accumulation in the higher elevations.
