Any sunshine early in the day will be quickly replaced by clouds today as our next storm system moves in from the south. With afternoon highs only reaching into the low and mid 30s in most locations today the precipitation with this storm will start out as snow for everyone as it overspreads the region from south to north. The snow will then continue into the overnight hours before changing over to an icy mix of sleet and snow and then eventually rain by Monday morning across much of eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. Before the changeover occurs most locations will pick up between 1" to 3" of snow with lower amounts further to the south and east. On top of that an additional .1" to a .25" of ice is possible. There could still be a bit of rain early on Monday, but with the system racing off the coast we expected the activity to taper off to just a few lingering rain showers and some drizzle. High temperatures on Monday will then reach into the lower and middle 40s.
