Tonight: Wintry mix changing to rain; Slick conditions on roadways. Low: 26
Monday: Cloudy and not as cold with rain tapering off to spotty drizzle by the afternoon. High: 44 Low: 30
Snow pushed into the area on Sunday afternoon bringing some pretty heavy band through our southern locations. Parts of the area picked up several inches of snow during this event (heaviest further to the south) with other place seeing significantly lighter amounts. Most of our area received between 1-3" of snow before the change to a wintry mix occurred, but our southern areas picked up around 3-6" (some locally higher amounts). The wintry mix is expected to continue overnight before eventually changing over to just plain rain by daybreak Monday morning. There could still be a bit of rain early on Monday, but with the system racing off the coast we expect the activity to taper off to just a few lingering rain showers and some drizzle. High temperatures on Monday will then reach into the lower and middle 40s.
