Clearing skies will lead to plenty of sunshine today, but that will do little to help afternoon highs which will only reach into the upper 30s and low 40s. Overnight the clouds will increase, but there will still be a few breaks of sunshine to start off the day on Sunday. However, the clouds will quickly increase by the late morning and early afternoon another storm system will start bringing snow to southern Pennsylvania, Delaware and parts of southern and western New Jersey. The snow will overspread our entire viewing area throughout the afternoon and into the evening before changing over to sleet and freezing rain and then eventually plain rain late Sunday night or early Monday morning. Before the changeover occurs most locations will pick up between 1" to 3" of snow with lower amounts further south and east. By daybreak on Monday the system will be wrapping up with nothing more then a few lingering rain showers early in the day. Highs on Monday will then reach into the low and mid 40s as some sunny breaks return to the area during the afternoon hours.
