Local Forecast Discussion

Today: Brisk and colder with clouds, some sunshine and a snow shower that could leave a fresh dusting. High: 26

Tonight: Clearing and cold with less wind late. Low: 8

Friday: Cold with partial sunshine (a snow shower/squall with arctic front at night). High: 27 Low: 16

The upper level trough will slowly slide off to the east today and Friday, bringing with it colder, gusty conditions and a few flurries or snow showers. Today we could see the flurries and snow showers at any time, but on Friday they will mainly come later on in the day and at night as a second arctic front moves through. High temperatures today and Friday will only reach the mid 20s, which won't seem as cold compared to what's in store for this weekend.

Both days this weekend will be bitterly cold with daytime highs only pushing into the teens and overnight lows around or below 0. This will be accompanied by very windy conditions and a few flurries on Saturday. Thankfully those winds will die down a bit and the flurries will come to an end for Sunday when plenty of sunshine will be present.
