***Wind Chill Advisory in effect, mainly northern areas, from midnight to Saturday morning***

***Wind Advisory in effect for the area from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning***

The clipper system is winding down with most locations picking up a coating to an inch or two. Going forward look for the winds to increase this afternoon ushering in colder air. This will push temperatures this afternoon back into the 20s in many locations. The clouds will also begin to clear this afternoon as high pressure briefly moves in for Saturday. Clearer skies tonight means temperatures will plummet into the single digits and with the winds still whipping at a fairly good clip we're going to watch feel like temps 10 to 20 below zero! Despite a tremendous amount of sunshine on Saturday highs will only make it into the low 20s, but that wind will again make it feel like the teens and single digits most of the day. Sunday will be less windy and warmer with highs bouncing back into the low and mid 30s. However with our next storm system approaching from the southwest the clouds will be increasing all day long. After the sun sets on Sunday the snow will begin to overspread the area and continue into Monday. At this point most of the models are indicating that this could be fairly significant snowfall event for our area, but it's still a little too early for specific numbers. We'll continue to keep our eyes on the storm and keep you posted on what we expect over the next couple days.
