***Winter Weather Advisory for the Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill, Carbon, Monroe And Warren (NJ) in effect from this evening through tomorrow afternoon

After a milder afternoon Wednesday with rain and drizzle, colder air is wrapping back into our area. This will allow the rain and drizzle to mix and eventually change to a bit of sleet and eventually all snow. 1-3" will have fallen by daybreak so slippery travel is expected. Snow will continue to fall before tapering off midday/early afternoon Thursday (again, snow lingers south until later in the afternoon). A widespread area of 3-6" of snow is possible overnight into tomorrow for the Berks/Lehigh Valley area. The northern Philadelphia suburbs on south could see 6" or more. Northern Poconos may only see 1-3" of snow. Bitterly cold air moves in Thursday night and Friday. Through the weekend, partly to mostly sunny skies will dominate with temperatures much closer to normal (40s!).
