We expect intermittent snow, that will generally be light to moderate, and flurries tonight through Wednesday morning. While some heavier bands of snow are possible, they will for the most part stay south and southwest of the viewing area. Through Wednesday morning a general 2-4" all told is expected for most parts of our area with locally higher amounts in some spots (where the heavier bands set up). Higher amounts around 4-8" possible from just west of Philadelphia and Reading into Lancaster and York. As for the temperatures, look for overnight lows to hang out around 30 degrees.

There will still be instability in the atmosphere Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as the trough slowly slides through the region, so a few flurries and maybe even a heavier snow shower are possible with little (less than an inch) or no accumulation expected. Highs over this stretch will fall from the mid and upper 30s on Wednesday into the upper 20s Thursday and Friday. Plus it will be a little on the breezy side as we wrap-up the work week.

Temperatures will tumble even more for the President's Day weekend as highs will only top out in the teens and overnight lows will fall to near or below 0. On both days those temperatures will be accompanied by a breeze making it feel even colder outside. Otherwise, a flurry or two is possible Saturday morning, but besides that the weekend will be dry with plenty of sunshine.
