***Winter Storm Watch for Carbon, Monroe, Warren and Sussex Counties from Wednesday morning through Thursday morning***
We set a new record high temperature today in both Allentown (71) and Reading (71), the previous record was 69 degrees for both places. A cooler air mass will settle into the region overnight causing our temperatures to drop back to the lower and middle 40s despite patchy clouds overhead. Tuesday will feature partly sunny skies, breezy conditions and cooler temperatures as afternoon highs hold in the middle 50s. A storm system moving up the coast will bring some snow to the area on Wednesday, which may cause some holiday travel delays. This system has the potential to bring several inches of snow to the region. Stay tuned for the latest information as we continue to keep an eye on this situation.
