Today: Not as cold with intervals of clouds and sunshine; an isolated sprinkle. High: 47
Tonight: Rather cloudy with a rain or snow shower in spots. Low: 28
Sunday: Partly to mostly sunny, brisk and chilly. High: 39 Low: 28
Today will start out sunnier than it will end. That's because the clouds will be thickening all day long as a cold front approaches the area from the northwest. Out ahead of this front the region will experience the warmest temperatures so far this March, but since it's been so cold that just means highs will get back to what's average for this time of year which is mid and upper 40s. As the previously mentioned cold front swings through later on tonight and into early Sunday morning we could squeeze out a rain or snow shower in a few spots. However, the front is very weak and moisture-starved so we're not expecting much. Sunday highs will fall back into the upper 30s and low 40s under partly to mostly sunny skies. Then on Monday and Tuesday the region may see back to back days where we reach the highest temperature so far this March as highs soar into the 50s!
