Slight chance of thunderstorms this weekend

Saturday forecast

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Today is expected to be another fairly nice day with partly cloudy skies and highs in the middle 80s.

However, once again an isolated shower or thunderstorm can't be ruled out this afternoon, especially in the higher elevations north and west of the Lehigh Valley.

We have a better opportunity for some showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours on Sunday as a frontal boundary approaches the region, but even this activity will be rather spotty.

Otherwise, look for a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday along with a bit more humidity and highs in the mid 80s.

Today: Partly sunny with an isolated PM shower or t-storm, mainly north and west. High: 87

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low: 69

Sunday: Times of clouds and sun with a couple of thunderstorms, mainly later; more humid. High: 86 Low: 72
