Damp and dreary conditions were the big story Friday. Most of the precipitation has pushed off to the east, but a shower or two may linger around before we dry out overnight.

Mostly cloudy skies will be featured overnight along with low temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s.

More rain is expected to return to the area this weekend as another storm passes by to our south.

The rain will push back into the area during the late morning or early afternoon hours on Saturday and then continue into Saturday night.

Some of the rain may come down heavy at times on Saturday, which could lead to ponding on area roads.

Showers and even a period of rain will continue to be possible on Sunday before the storm slowly moves away.

Rainfall total through the weekend will generally be between one and two inches, with locally higher amounts possible.

The wet weather and a gusty breeze will also cause it to be on the chilly side this weekend with highs holding in the upper 40s and lower 50s both days.
