A lull in the snow and sleet brought eight to 16 inches to much of our area.
A dry tongue of air moved in Thursday afternoon allowing most of us to clean up round one.
Rain, freezing rain and sleet developed again late Thursday afternoon.
The ice switched over to snow again Thursday evening and will continue at varying rates into the early part of Friday morning (3-4 a.m.).
Additional snow amounts of three to six inches are possible (in addition to the first round of snow that fell earlier Thursday).

In the wake of this storm on Friday, look for partly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures. However, because of the wind it may still feel chilly at times.
Late Friday night into very early Saturday morning a system will pass to the south and clip the area with a bit of snow.
