Tuesday night weather update

Tonight: Any lingering snow/flurries tapering off overnight. Very cold. Wind chills below zero. Low: 4

Snow fell at varying rates Tuesday. Northern parts of Schuylkill, Carbon and Monroe counties ended up with 1-3". Most of Berks and the Lehigh Valley saw 4-7" of snow. Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and parts of Hunterdon and Warren counties (NJ) ended up with 5-10". Philadelphia seemed to have the highest amount with nearly 12" of snow.

The last bit of snow will pull out of the south and eastern parts of our area by midnight.

With temperatures remaining so cold, very little melting will take place over the next several days.
