What's a heat wave?

An official heat wave in our area is defined as three or more consecutive days with temperatures reaching 90 degrees or higher.

It is important to take the necessary heat precautions during a heat wave or any time of extreme heat by drinking plenty of water and limiting strenuous outdoor activity.
