Local Forecast Discussion

Overnight: Partly cloudy. Low: 44

Monday: Sunny to partly cloudy. High: 65

Monday Night: Clear to partly cloudy. Low: 45

The area of high pressure to our north nudged its way southward into the region Sunday, so we finally saw a break from the clouds and rain showers.  This made for a pleasant end to this otherwise damp and dreary stretch of weather we've seen over the past several days.  As we head overnight, we'll see partly cloudy skies with low temperatures in the mid 40's.

For Monday, the dry trend continues along with some sunshine and a breeze at times. Temperatures will climb into the mid 60's, a few degrees warmer than where we were today.

As high pressure remains in control, temperatures will warm into the low 70's by mid-week, bringing us a few degrees above average.  The sunny skies will persist as well, and the next chance for a shower doesn't come until later on Friday.  Overall, expect a drier and more seasonable week ahead.
