Weather Forecast Discussion

Seasonable with plenty of clouds today

A little rain, mix or snow late tonight

TODAY: Some sun, then plenty of clouds. High: 46

TONIGHT: Cloudy with light rain and snow late (light accumulations likely north and non-paved surfaces). Low: 33

MONDAY: A rain or snow shower early in the morning; otherwise, considerable cloudiness. High: 46 Low: 32

Today is another seasonable day with highs in the mid 40s. Some sunshine this morning then turning rather cloudy as a frontal boundary approaches from the west. While the area will stay dry during the day and evening, there will be some light rain and snow moving through the area late tonight.

Light accumulations are likely especially north, like in the Poconos and on non-paved, grassy surfaces around the Lehigh Valley. Even though we're not expecting much, it may be enough to slick up some area roadways for the Monday morning commute. A rain or snow shower may still be in the area for the morning commute, as well. Low temperatures will be right around freezing, 32 degrees.

Otherwise, Monday will be mainly dry after any morning rain or snow showers. Plenty of clouds are expected with a peak of sun possible in the afternoon. High temperatures continue to reach the seasonable mid 40s.

The rest of the week does look active and fairly seasonable. Another storm system impacts the region on Tuesday and may start as a wintry mix before switching to rain and continuing through Wednesday. A strong cold front will push through Thursday causing temperatures to drop rapidly. High temperatures through the weekend are only expected to reach the mid to upper 30s. It will be windy as well, causing some lake effect snow showers to make it into the area for some.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
