Clouds breaking overnight, flurries to the north

Windy and colder Sunday

OVERNIGHT: Windy and colder with clouds breaking (flurries, mainly north). Low: 32

SUNDAY: Partly sunny, windy and cooler (flurries, mainly to the north). High: 44

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear and chilly. Low: 28

What started off as another warm day quickly turned active Saturday afternoon and we're seeing a drastic change in temperature behind that cold front and line of strong thunderstorms. Some storms were severe with gusts around 60 mph and 1" hail being reported. There have also been reports of trees and wires down and some roof damage. We even had a tornado warning for part of Lancaster and Lebanon county Saturday afternoon, and while funnel clouds were spotted, there have been no reports of any actual tornados touching down.

Nonetheless, we'll see some gradual clearing overnight with breaking clouds into Sunday. There may even be flurries, especially to the north, with much colder air filtering in. Lows will drop back into the low 30s overnight.

Highs on Sunday will be much colder, but more seasonable as temperatures reach the mid 40s. However, windy conditions will make it feel like it's in the 30s. Those cold temperatures Sunday will be accompanied by some sunshine, but with flurries possible, especially to the north. This will be a much more typical day weather-wise for late February.

Temperatures will bounce back a bit early next week as we wrap-up the month of February and start March with highs in the mid to upper 50s. There will also be some rain chances starting later Monday and lasting through most of the week.
