Bed Bath & Beyond will close around 60 stores in fiscal year 2019.
The number includes about 40 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and 20 other concept stores, said Leah Cascarano, a public relations spokesperson.
The company made the decision after it considered ways to create a balance between its physical and digital presence, Cascarano said.
She said the company is prioritizing efforts to deliver the shopping experience its customers want, which includes near-term store improvements.
Cascarano said no other details of the store closings are being released at this time.
