Delegation of Russian businessmen and women come to NCC to learn about the Lehigh Valley

There's a delegation of Russian business men and women learning about the Lehigh Valley.

Although it's been around since 1999, you may have never heard of the Open World Leadership Center.

For about a week, delegates from different parts of Eurasia come to the United States to learn from our businesses. And this year they're in Bethlehem via Russia. The event is hosted by Northampton Community College.

Dimitry and Yelena were two of the delegates on the tour, and were accompanied by an interpreter.

He works in HR, and she's in business development. They say they have both learned powerful lessons to take back to Russia.

”We learned about the system of support, government support of business in the United States,” said Yelena.

"I realize my counterparts and I have a lot of similarities and similar approaches of how we work with people," Dimitry said.

Which Open World says is about establishing beneficial relationships between future leaders of other nations.
