Lehigh Valley Health Network is acquiring Coordinated Health.
The organizations have signed a letter of intent, pending reviews by the Federal Trade Commission and the state attorney general's office, according to a statement from LVHN.
"LVHN and Coordinated Health share a common vision focused on population health, one that is rooted in being a partner and advocate in our patients' health journeys," said Brian Nester, president and CEO of LVHN. "We are very excited by the opportunity to have the talented team at Coordinated Health join the region's most trusted and awarded health network."
The acquisition will include all Coordinated Health locations in the greater Lehigh Valley region, northeast Pennsylvania from Hazleton to Scranton, and western New Jersey, officials said.
"For 30 years, we have delivered health care differently, delivering more value by narrowing our service lines and by reaching out to our patients in terms of accessibility. We have every confidence that LVHN will continue to expand this legacy," said Dr. Emil DiIorio, chairman and CEO of Coordinated Health.
LVHN and Coordinated Health will continue to operate separately pending the review process, which is expected to take between 30 and 60 days.
