14 year old Charles experienced his dream Friday as the teen geared up and hooked in with the Catasauqua Fire Department to train like a fireman.

"So why do you want to be a fire fighter?" WFMZ's Bo Koltnow asked him.

'You serve and protect," Charles said. "I feel like that is what I can do to save someone's life."

Charles is one of 2,000 kids across the state in foster care searching for a forever family.

Charles proved his bravery Friday. Now he just needs someone to prove themselves to him.

"All the stuff you did today. Does it make you want to be a fire fighter more or less?" Bo asked him.

"More. Look at all we did. This is cool," Charles said.
