A great meal is made from the right ingredients.
19 year old Eric and WFMZ's Bo Koltnow got a taste of what it takes to make the perfect dish from Juan Martinez inside his Don Juan Mex Grill in Macungie.
"If you could make any dish what would it be?" Koltnow asked Eric.
"Empanadas," he said.
This 19-year-old aspiring chef is also hoping to be an added flavor for a family.
He's one of more than 2,000 foster kids across the state looking to sit at the dinner table in a permanent home.
Today's dish was shrimp tacos.
"What do you like about cooking so much?" Koltnow asked.
"Just getting to serve the people, make something fresh. Making something with my hands," he said.
The soon to be high school grad plans on going to culinary school and then opening up his own seafood restaurant named Guardo's, after a past pet.
