Being questioned by police isn't on most teens' Friday morning to-do list.
But for 15-year-old Randy, it's part of the curriculum in being an honorary Macungie Police Officer for the day.
Aside from a badge, Randy also got a lesson in fingerprinting from Officer Todd Bernhard. He even got suited up in police body armor by Sgt. Travis Kocher.
Randy is like more than 2,000 kids across Pennsylvania in foster care looking for a forever home.
"Once he gets to know and trust adults, his great smile and personality comes through," said case worker Kimberly Hillman.
Before hitting the road, Randy got the 411 on going on patrol inside a department cruiser.
On a fake traffic stop Randy handled himself like a pro, like many times in real life. The driver couldn't escape a ticket, which Randy handed over.
And on the fourth of May it's clear to see this force is certainly with Randy. For more information on Randy or any other of our Adopt Lehigh Valley Kids head to our website.
