ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Allentown Diocese took a creative approach to making sure hungry residents have something to eat.
Staff and volunteers wearing masks and gloves Friday distributed boxes of groceries to people they normally serve in their food kitchen.
The kitchen is closed because of the coronavirus.
150 boxes were given out in front of the Catholic Charities Chew Street Community Center in Allentown.
This is the second week the diocese has done curbside grocery pickup.
