HARRISBURG, Pa. - The U.S. Supreme Court has asked Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf to respond to arguments against his stay-at-home order by Monday.
The governor's order is part of the mitigation efforts to fight the coronavirus.
Pennsylvanians behind the suit say the order is unconstitutional because the financial hardship has violated their property rights of business across the state.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court already denied their request, stating the governor's powers during a state of emergency overrode the concerns of a temporary shutdown.
Governor Wolf said Friday parts of the state will partially reopen on May 8.
