BETHLEHEM, Pa. - An employee of the Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem has tested positive for coronavirus.
A statement from Wind Creek says the person worked on the casino "floor with limited public interaction."
The casino resort says the employee last worked on site March 14. Wind Creek has been closed since March 15.
The casino is informing state and local health officials and is in the process of informing both guests and employees who may have come in contact with the employee.
Wind Creek has been deep cleaning the facility since it closed on March 15. Wind Creek has a tentative reopening date of March 29.
"Our commitment to keeping our Guests and Team Members safe is our priority during this time. We wish our affected Team Member a speedy recovery, as well as others suffering from COVID-19," Wind Creek said in its statement.
