EARL TWP., Pa. - A two-alarm fire badly damaged a home in Berks County on Thursday.

The first dispatch was made shortly before 11 a.m. for the report of a house on fire in the 200 block of Manatawny Road in Earl Township.

The first firefighters on the scene reported flames through the roof of the two-story home and struck the second alarm for additional manpower and water.

No injuries were reported, despite one firefighter falling through a floor, according to a Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal, who is working to find the cause.
