CUMRU TWP., Pa. - Some quick-thinking bicyclists helped a family escape a fire in Berks County.

It happened late Sunday morning in the 1600 block of Welsh Road in Cumru Township.

One of the cyclists told 69 News he noticed a fire near the chimney of the home and called 911. Then, he knocked on the door of the home and told family members to get out.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the flames.
