WYOMISSING, Pa. – A locally-owned home goods retailer is going out of business.

Coventry Corners announced that it will close its stores at the Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing and at the Coventry Mall near Pottstown.

The retailer said a liquidation sale will begin Thursday and continue through Dec. 24.

Coventry Corners opened its first store in 1982 at the Coventry Mall in North Coventry Township, Berks County. It expanded to Berks County in 1988, and opened a store at the Berkshire Mall in 1995.
