WEST READING, Pa. - A two-vehicle crash put the brakes on eastbound travel along the West Shore Bypass for about an hour leading up to Tuesday afternoon's rush hour.

The crash was reported shortly after 3 p.m. on the outer loop of the bypass -- Route 422 East -- between the Penn Street/Penn Avenue interchange in West Reading and the Lancaster Avenue interchange in Reading.

A 69 News photo from the scene showed a car and a pickup truck blocking both lanes of travel.

No one was injured, police said.

The highway reopened around 4 p.m.
