Humane Pennsylvania pet food distribution in Amity

AMITY TWP., Pa. - Humane Pennsylvania will again be coming to the aid of pet owners in need during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The Reading-based animal welfare organization will hold one of its Spike's Pet Pantry food distribution events on Wednesday.

Bags of free dog and cat food will be given out from noon until 2 p.m. at 1201 Benjamin Franklin Highway in Amity Township.

The site can be accessed from Church Street, between the eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 422. Those who go are asked to stay inside their vehicle with the windows up to ensure everyone's safety.
