READING, Pa. - A young man became the latest person to lose his life to gunfire on the streets of Reading.
The shooting was reported around 8:15 p.m. in the 400 block of North 10th Street.
RPD officers arrived on the scene to find the victim lying in the street.
The Berks County coroner's office said Wednesday morning that it has not yet identified the victim, but he appears to be in his 20s.
Investigators, who remained on the scene overnight, focused their attention on a home at Buttonwood and Mulberry streets.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Alert Berks County by texting a tip to 847411, starting the message with keyword alertberks, or by calling 877-373-9913. A cash reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
