FLEETWOOD, Pa. - A mother has lost her youngest son, one of her four children, after 17-year-old Armani Campos died following a crash on Route 61 in Tilden Township on September 17th.

"He didn't see the bad in anybody. He always looked at the positive for everything. And he would always be a goofball just to make somebody laugh," Melissa Olivencia said. "He made you laugh and succeeded. That's all he cared about."

Pennsylvania State Police say a car with three teens in it collided with a tractor trailer near the I-78 interchange. Campos would later die at Reading Hospital on September 20th.

His family buried him this week with his mother recalling for 69 News the last time she saw him alive.

"The day, right before he left for work, I saw him," remembered Olivencia. "And I told him that I loved him. He said, 'I love you too, mom.' I was supposed to go pick him up from work, but I just got diagnosed with pink eye. It was hard for me to see. I told him to see if he can find a ride because I don't want to risk us getting in an accident, and if you can't, I'll get an Uber for you."

"He just turned 17 two months ago," she added. "He had a whole life ahead of him. It's not fair."

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with expenses.
