Kutztown University campus generic

MAXATAWNY TWP., Pa. - Kutztown University is continuing to see more cases of the coronavirus among its students.

An additional 66 positive tests have been added since Friday. They include 35 students who live on campus and 30 who reside in off-campus housing.

In addition, a second KU employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

The university noted that the new numbers represent four days of testing because of Monday being a holiday.

Kutztown University has reported 123 cases since Aug. 24. Officials have said that most are the result of students participating in social gatherings off campus.
