COLEBROOKDALE TWP., Pa. - An eastern Berks County man is accused of shooting his brother to death during an argument outside a home in Colebrookdale Township.

Ronald Wickizer, 59, is facing charges of first- and third-degree murder, aggravated assault and possessing an instrument of crime in the Thursday afternoon shooting of his brother, Randall Wickizer, according to the district attorney's office.

The two were engaged in a verbal argument outside the home in the first block of Willow Road when Ronald went in the garage, returned with a handgun and shot Randall in the head, investigators allege.

Police and paramedics were dispatched to the home around 12:45 p.m. and found Randall dead outside. The county coroner's office was requested to the scene a short time later.

Authorities had said the suspect was taken into custody at the scene. Wickizer is being held in Berks County Jail without bail.
