Nicole Kurowski, former Tulpehocken teacher, sentenced to probation, house arrest


A former teacher has been sentenced to three months house arrest and three years probation after pleading guilty to institutional sexual assault.

Nicole Kurowski was a physical education teacher and cheerleading coach at Tulpehocken Area High School.

Police said she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student. She resigned in January.
