Person shows up at hospital ER after shooting in Reading

A shooting in Reading sent a person to the hospital Monday night.

The gunfire was reported around 9 p.m. in the area of North 11th and Walnut streets.

A 20-year-old shooting victim showed up about 10 minutes later at Reading Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds, police said.

Initial reports indicated that neighbors heard yelling, followed by six gunshots.
