READING, Pa. - In anticipation of former President Trump's visit to Reading, the Reading School District will dismiss early on Monday, November 4, 2024 due to predicted road closures in the area, according to a Reading School District Facebook post.
Students will be served breakfast and lunch. Transportation schedules will be modified. Dismissal times are as follows:
*Reading High School (RHS) will dismiss at 10:30 a.m.
-NOTE: RHS Specialized transportation will dismiss at 10:00 a.m.
-AM-Career and Technology students will dismiss at 10:00 a.m. and will return to RHS for lunch
-PM-Career and Technology students will dismiss at 10:30 a.m. from Reading High School and will not attend PM Career and Technology
*Reading Knight Accelerated Academy CityLine, Glenside, and Thomas Ford will dismiss at 1:00 p.m.
*Central Middle, Northeast Middle, Northwest Middle, Southern Middle and Southwest Middle Schools schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.
*Elementary schools, including Kindergarten and K-8 Reading Virtual Academy, will dismiss at 12:15 p.m.
*AM - Pre-K will attend from 8:05 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
*PM - Pre-K will attend from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
