The crash of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 78 in Berks County caused some traffic issues Monday night.
The truck was traveling east on the highway in Bethel Township shortly after 7:30 p.m., when it suffered a punctured tire, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The truck hit the right guide rail, went up an embankment, and then overturned onto its driver's side about a mile past the Bethel interchange, police said.
First responders worked for about an hour to free the driver, who was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital near Allentown for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
The eastbound lanes of I-78 were closed until just after midnight while crews cleared the scene.
