Pedestrian struck at 5th and Penn streets in downtown Reading

READING, Pa. - An autopsy was being done Thursday on a woman who died after being hit by a car on Penn Square in downtown Reading.

Mikerrah Page, 24, of Reading, died Tuesday afternoon, according to the Berks County coroner.

Page had been hospitalized since the night of Friday, Jan. 8, when she was struck at Fifth and Penn streets, the police said.

Investigators said they will not determine whether charges will be filed until after they receive the results of the autopsy.
