2 locals raise over $200K for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society announced a New Tripoli man and a Stroudsburg woman have been named the winners of this year's Man & Woman of the Year of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter.

Ron Jerdon and Kimberly Yarnall raised around $116,000 and $103,000 respectively for the society, which aims to find cures for blood cancers and ensure patients have access to lifesaving treatments.

Jerdon is the founder and president of his commercial general construction and construction management firm, Jerdon Construction Services. He serves on the board of directors for the Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley.

Yarnall is a practicing chiropractor in the Poconos and is the current board president for the Pocono Family YMCA. She's also a member of the Stroudsburg Zoning Board.
