Former Air Products CEO dies at 82

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Air Products is teaming up with two Saudi Arabian companies for a new project.

The Lehigh Valley-based gas and chemical manufacturer has signed a $5 billion deal with ACWA Power and NEOM. Together they will build what they're calling the world's largest renewable-energy plant that will produce green hydrogen-based ammonia.

The ammonia will then be exported to global markets for use in transportation. The companies say this will save millions of tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Production is expected to begin in 2025.
