Hellertown I-78 crash

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A serious crash closed part of Interstate 78 for hours in Northampton County.

The two-vehicle crash happened around noon Wednesday on I-78 near Hellertown/Exit 67.

The wreck itself happened in the eastbound lanes but it appears at least one of the vehicles crossed over from the westbound side before the crash, state police said.

I-78 east was closed at Exit 67, but all lanes have since reopened.

State police have not commented on what happened or the extent of injuries.
