ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown has checked in as one of the top places to retire in the United States.

That's according to a new list released by U.S. News.

Allentown landed at number 11 on the list.

U.S. News cites the city's historic homes and buildings, the city's flair for art, and the local sports teams.

It also points out the city's close proximity to outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, and its convenient location when it comes to getting to major cities like Philly and New York.
