St. Patrick's Day parade in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The St. Patrick's Day parade in Bethlehem has been canceled this year amid coronavirus concerns.

The 2020 Parade of Shamrocks was set for Saturday, March 14.

The Celtic Cultural Alliance said Thursday morning it agreed with city officials that it was in the best interest of public safety to cancel the event.

"CCA appreciates the public’s understanding given the current health situation and appreciates the support received for the 2020 Parade of Shamrocks," the group said on its website.
