BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A Bethlehem woman is running for a seat on city council.
Hillary Kwiatek announced her candidacy for Bethlehem City Council in a news release on Thursday.
She said her priorities include recovering from the pandemic, reimagining public safety, creating a vibrant, sustainable city for all, and addressing racism and inequity.
Kwiatek and her husband have lived in Bethlehem since 2000. She has worked in non-profit fundraising and communications during her career, and currently works as a communications specialist at Lehigh University, her news release says.
