Boil water advisory

CATASAUQUA, Pa. - The boil water advisory for Catasauqua has been terminated.

Water main breaks on Poplar Street and Bridge Court Tuesday evening had caused a potential loss of water pressure, meaning the water could have been contaminated with harmful bacteria, officials said earlier in the week.

The problem has been corrected, and it is no longer necessary to boil water in Catasauqua, the borough's Emergency Management Agency said.
