Children's author discusses new book

Author Jordan Sonnenblick visited the WFMZ studio, and discussed his latest book The Secret Sheriff of 6th Grade with Bo Koltnow and Karin Mallett.

Sonnenblick taught eighth-grade English in New Jersey for 11 years before becoming an author. One of his students was going through a personal family matter and Sonnenblick wrote a book for her about a teen that was going through a similar situation.

Ever since then, he's written one book per year. Other books of his include Falling Over Sideways and Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie. For more information, visit letsplaybooks.com.
