ALLENTOWN, Pa. | Police arrested an Allentown man last Friday for allegedly pulling a knife on his employer and threatening to stab him.

Allentown police were dispatched to the 700 block of North Seventh Street about 5:45 p.m. Friday to investigate a report of an armed person. The victim reported to officers that Lismer D. Herrera Nunez had pulled out a knife and threatened to stab him, according to court records. The victim told authorities that Herrera Nunez was “his worker,” according to the criminal complaint.

Police allege they found the 27-year-old in his vehicle still holding the knife and smelling of alcohol. Authorities said they considered him a danger to others because of “his level of intoxication.”

Herrera Nunez, no confirmed address, now faces single counts of terroristic threats and public drunkenness. District Judge Michael Pochron arraigned him Friday night, setting bail at $10,000. He failed to post bail and was sent to Lehigh County Jail to await a preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov. 15.
