ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Fire crews in Allentown fought flames that broke out at an apartment building Saturday afternoon.

It happened in the 900 block of Walnut Street.

Fire officials say the fire was in the floors and walls of the front second and third apartments. They had to be torn apart in order to put out the flames.

We're told there were people inside, and they were able to get out okay. However, four adults and four children in the three front apartments are displaced.

No one was injured.

The Red Cross is assisting several people displaced by the fire.
